The human spirit is the incorporeal part of man. The Bible says that the human spirit is the very breath of Almighty God and was breathed into man at the beginning of God’s creation: “Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being” (Genesis 2:7). It is the human spirit that gives us a consciousness of self and other remarkable, though limited, “God-like” qualities. The human spirit includes our intellect, emotions, fears, passions, and creativity. It is this spirit that provides us the unique ability to comprehend and understand (Job 32:8, 18).

The words spirit and breath are translations of the Hebrew word neshamah and the Greek word pneuma. The words mean “strong wind, blast, or inspiration.” Neshamah is the source of life that vitalizes humanity (Job 33:4). It is the intangible, unseen human spirit that governs man’s mental and emotional existence. The apostle Paul said, “Who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man’s spirit within him?” (1 Corinthians 2:11). Upon death the “spirit returns back to God who gave it” (Ecclesiastes 12:7; see also Job 34:14-15; Psalm 104:29-30).

Every human being has a spirit, and it is distinct from the “spirit,” or life, of animals. God made man differently from the animals in that He created us “in the image of God” (Genesis 1:26-27). Therefore, man is able to think, feel, love, design, create, and enjoy music, humor, and art. And it is because of the human spirit that we have a “free will” that no other creature on earth has.

The human spirit was damaged in the fall. When Adam sinned, his ability to fellowship with God was broken; he did not die physically that day, but he died spiritually. Ever since, the human spirit has borne the effects of the fall. Before salvation, a person is characterized as spiritually “dead” (Ephesians 2:1-5; Colossians 2:13). A relationship with Christ revitalizes our spirits and renews us day by day (2 Corinthians 4:16).

Interestingly, just as the human spirit was divinely breathed into the first man, so the Holy Spirit was breathed into the first disciples in John 20:22: “And with that [Jesus] breathed on them and said, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit’” (Acts 2:38). Adam was made alive by the breath of God, and we, as “new creations” in Christ, are made spiritually alive by the “Breath of God,” the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 5:17; John 3:3; Romans 6:4). Upon our acceptance of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit of God joins with our own spirit in ways we cannot comprehend. The apostle John said, “This is how we know that we live in Him and He in us: He has given us of His Spirit” (1 John 4:13).

When we allow the Spirit of God to lead our lives, the “Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children” (Romans 8:16). As children of God, we are no longer led by our own spirit but by God’s Spirit, who leads us to eternal life.

One Voice in my Prayer Closet

One Voice in my Prayer Closet

Early in the Morning when I arise and pray. Often moments throughout my day so many late nights only He Knows …He Pulls me away from the daily distractions in my mind The Still Small voice calls me to pray.

I raise one hand without doubt and the other without wrath surrender To Gods Will and His Way There is one Voice I hear in my Prayer Closet
In the early Days of my Prayer life it seemed so simple
God I ask you for This and That I prayed for Family and friends and some stuff I wanted sometimes my prayers were answered sometimes not Maybe God Was Busy or just didn’t Want me to have that stuff I really Did not know
I used to ask God Why he didn’t Give me stuff I wrote him out a list maybe He couldn’t Read My Hand writing But of course He Could He is GOD
I also Remember Writing out Santa Clause a list and I never Got everything on that list either
Maybe Pray is not all about Me Could it be that one’s prayer life is reflected in their faith walk
Let’s look back at the beginning
God Created Man
God placed Man in the Garden to work it
God Gave instruction on What Man can and cannot do according to Gods plan for man
Man Sinned Man disobeyed God
God Walked in The Garden in the cool of the Day calling out to Adam
Adam Replied we Heard your Voice and Hid ourselves because we were naked
God Said who told you that you were naked Did you eat of the Tree I commanded you not to eat from
And of course Adam blamed Eve and eve blamed the serpent

Ok we see here God is the creator Man is the created
God placed man in the Garden to work so in Gods eyes WORK that four letter word is important and a good thing
God Gave instruction and Man didn’t follow all the instruction
So Man sinned by disobeying God and God showed up in the Garden to walk and talk with Adam his Creation God still wanted fellowship with Man even after the Fall

So the one voice in my pray closet is the same voice Adam heard in the Garden
The Voice of God seeking Fellowship with His creation
So Maybe Prayer is all about Fellowship with God

So I ask myself why we need to be remined to support
ONE DAY A YEAR
Don’t you love your MAMA don’t you love your DADDY everyday
IF you just attended church on Sunday 52 weeks in one year and the pastor of the church like a shepherd was feeding His flock of sheep which you are one
And on Pastor Appreciation Day you thought to show your appreciation you would give the pastor some money
There are other ways to show support but since were talk Real prosperity Gospel and most people their first thought of on PROSPERITY is a money thought

Based on your income would you Give your pastor
ONE hours income or one DAYS income or one WEEEKS income or more or would it be like a tip you leave the waitress just asking the question here trying to get us all examining ourselves

I once worked for a man in the car wash industry and at that time he had owned His car wash for ten years I remember a conversation we had………….
He Said Steve you know I have not paid for anything in this town in 10 years
I said HU
He began to tell me he had bartered for goods and services for the entire ten years he was running the car wash
He would get His hair cut every Friday military style cut and the owners of the local barbershop would bring their cars in for a wash or wax or full detail anytime the wash was open it was open Monday through Saturday

One Gentleman owned a local Shoe store and He would bring in these $100 and more pairs of tennis shoes in trade for carwash services

My boss loved to play Golf and He traded with one of the local Golf pros time on the course and driving range you guessed it for car wash services

He also would workout at one of the local gyms and in trade the owners would bring in their cars throughout the week
And the list goes on all along trading car washes for goods and services
Their were several local Pizza and sub shops he just picked up the phone ordered lunch and wala free meal free delivery all in trade for car wash services the ultimate barter King if you will
A local Car Mechanic would bring His custormers cars in for a wash after he serviced their car and not only the boss but His emplyees received free Car Maintince
I remember a time When My wife was dropping my off at work and when she went to start the car up and leave for her job it wouldn’t start
The stress a of a car expense loss of work can ad up the manager looked at me seeing my the looks on our faces he said relax three hours later the car was fixed NO BILL to pay THAT’S GODS FAVOR in my book
My Boss was blessed and he was Blessing others HMMMM sounds like Real prosperity Gospel to me

Hold on to your seat when I tell you HE paid for nothing in that town Restaurants Movies Concerts Flower shops ilawn care for His wash and His home
Air conditioning company jst had to make sure His air always worked and in South Florida that was important

SO WHY AM I SAYING ALL THIS
If we would apricate our pastors with our time talent and resources
It would take a lot of pressure off of those in ministry
If your Pastor did not have to pay for anything in His Community because members of the congregation took a stand and said we will support our Pastor with our time talent and resources
I remember back in the 1980s one of the pastors at my church was working security with me because wasn’t able to support His family on the salary the church was paying Him
I also know of a pastor who owned a cleaning company and they worked nights to suplimant their income from the church

For a moment lets take a look at the hearts of these two pastors
Some might say tell the church to give them a raise
Their actions spoke loudly their heart was in serving God and seeing to the needs of the people they were not there for a paycheck

A few bible verses on purpose and destiny
How do we really know our purpose how are we fulfilling our destiny
WE Know we are born and when we die we want to hear well done thy good and faithful servant but what about the parts in between are they lining up with purpose and destiny
What Did God say What Direction has the Holy Spirit given us are we following His instruction
God has a plan for each of us our life has a purpose there is a direction we must follow
When we look in the mirror what do we see what do we say Gives our life purpose
If you were given 5 years of income for your present position in life
As a bonus after taxes, etc. that’s FIVE YEARS of income
WOULD YOU STILL BE THERE TOMORROW
If you could walk away maybe you’re not following your purpose in life
If you keep asking yourself why am I here can there be more to life than this What is missing why am I not happy I have achieved this and that but still there is no joy
Maybe it time to ask GOD

The Challenge of the Vision

The Challenge of the Vision

As I walk into my prayer closet I begin to sing praises unto the Lord
God inhabits the Praises of His People the Bible tells us so
As Jesus taught the Disciples to pray I begin with
Our Father which art in heaven hallowed be thy name
I Hallow the Names of God
Jehovah Jireh Jehovah Nissi Jehovah Shalom Jehovah Jeshua Jehovah Joel Jehovah Jockebed Jehovah Johanan Jehovah Tsidkenu Jehovah Shammah Jehovah Rophe Jehovah Rohi

In my time of prayer God shows me a vision. In the Word, it tells us write the vision make it plain so he that reads it can run with it. A clear example of this was taken from my background in the Martial arts. The first day you walk into a karate school you are known as a beginning student or white belt student. You will be introduced to your teacher, instructor, professor Master Grand Master Sensei or Sifu. their title is based on their style system art and how long they have been in the Martial arts.
It is simple to say they are the teacher and you are the student. After the introductions, most will point you to a wall where you will see the vision. OUR GOAL IS BLACK BELT. Underneath those words on the wall you will see belts ranging from White to black with various colors in between. Under each belt, you will see a sheet of paper in the same color as the corresponding belt with a lesson plan a curriculum to follow to achieve that particular rank. The teacher will give instruction covering the lesson plan. You must follow the instructions practicing the lessons repeatedly until you have achieved a level of proficiency the teachers deems necessary. Then you must take a test to prove your knowledge understanding and abilities at each level of your training. You must pass the test to receive your next rank.
This continues with each step each belt level each rank until you reach your Goal of BLACK BELT
In my particular training the ranks were; White, Yellow, Orange, Purple, Blue, Green, Brown and then BLACK BELT. I started as a White belt in august of 1982 and on July 12th 1985 I tested for my Black Belt which I received some 5 hours later. On November 20th 2009 I was awarded a 5th degree Master Level Black Belt That’s 24 years after my Black Belt Test. The Challenge of the vision can be clear as shown above Maybe your Vision is to be a black belt and maybe If You follow the road My Teachers laid out before me you can be a Black belt in just under 3 years and maybe you could achieve Master Level with only 24 more years. As I stated above one can clearly see an example of a Vision a Goal the Challenges met to achieve a particular level. However, fulfilling Gods Purpose and Plan for your life may not always be as clearly understood. There are other areas in my life where I knew I had heard from the Lord I took a step of faith and fell flat on my face mentally, emotionally and in other ways. When we don’t understand, what then? Have you ever heard the voice of the Lord speak to you clearly and as you followed His instruction you were taken to the next level in that area of your life?
Then you again hear the voice of the Lord speak to you about another area of your life you step out in faith and nothing happens and you just don’t understand. You try not to let doubt, worry, fear, frustration come into your thinking, but they somehow show their ugly faces. Then you try and go back to the basics. What is God’s plan for my life? Spiritually Mentally Emotionally Physically and Financially. What’s Gods Plan and Purpose for me on this planet
The teacher will give instruction covering the lesson plan you must follow the instruction. Practice the lessons repeatedly until you have achieved a level of proficiency the teacher deems necessary before.

Most Christians don’t know how to live free.
For forty years they could not see the promise, so they never got to the promise land where it could manifest itself.
Joshua and Caleb saw the promise, they got to enter the promise land
Everyone has a Jordan to cross
Reasons for crossing your Jordan:
Your purpose for living can’t be fulfilled where you are it’s time to move.
Don’t stay where your creativity like a candle goes out and you no longer have any influence.
Go where you are celebrated not where you are tolerated.
When you can’t hear Gods word there it’s time to leave there.
When you are willing to cross your Jordan it will create a life worth living. It will create a vision that is clear. Stop the pity parties, get moving with the vision God has for you. A desire to make your move creates a road to success.
Ideas, concepts and strategies will begin to manifest. To find answers to your problems you have to make a move.
Get out of the desert, stop being double minded, cross over your Jordan.
God already has a plan in place.
Now give attention to detail.
God wants you to live a full successful life
Separate yourself from people. God gave you a message, write your book. Write down the message A man with a vision cannot die if you walk with God.
A man with a vision walks in purpose and destiny. Prosperity is not money. It’s having enough of the presence of God to do what He has called you to do to live the life you were called to live. Stop thinking like a slave, change your thinking, and think like a child of God. You are a chosen generation, make the move!
How far will you go with the promise of God in 2016.

You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master.’ And the one also who had received the one talent came up and said, ‘Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow and gathering where you scattered no seed. And I was afraid, and went away and hid your talent in the ground. See, you have what is yours.’ But his master answered and said to him, ‘You wicked, lazy slave, you knew that I reap where I did not sow and gather where I scattered no seed. ‘Then you ought to have put my money in the bank, and on my arrival I would have received my money back with interest. Therefore take away the talent from him, and give it to the one who has the ten talents.’ For to everyone who has, more shall be given, and he will have an abundance; but from the one who does not have, even what he does have shall be taken away. Throw out the worthless slave into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Lending Scriptures
Exodus 22:25
If you lend money to My people, to the poor among you, you are not to act as a creditor to him; you shall not charge him interest.
Leviticus 25:35-37
Now in case a countryman of yours becomes poor and his means with regard to you falter, then you are to sustain him, like a stranger or a sojourner, that he may live with you. Do not take usurious interest from him, but revere your God, that your countryman may live with you. You shall not give him your silver at interest, nor your food for gain.
Deuteronomy 15:8
But you shall freely open your hand to him, and shall generously lend him sufficient for his need in whatever he lacks.
Deuteronomy 23:19-20
You shall not charge interest to your countrymen: interest on money, food, or anything
